There were issues with the booking through Expedia, but the hotel manager was very helpful and made the adjustments to our booking so that we had the rooms we Needed. We will stay here every time we stay in Manteo.

Each room has two chairs and a table in front of them for smoking, there even was a cigarette bucket. Room was very spacious and clean. Beds were a little hard and the only major issue I had was the AC unit in the wall did not keep the room super cold.

The room was spotless! Mattresses were okay; we're spoiled by ours at home. The AC would cut off for several minutes at a time and then come back on. The room was nice and cool while the AC ran, but it would become quite warm during the stopped period of time. Not sure why it was programmed to run that way. Other than that, the room was perfect, with all the amenities you could need--apartment sized refrigerator, small microwave, ironing board and iron, even a small stovetop!

Our stay was fine at this property. Nothing fancy but met our expectations of a non-chain beach hotel. Room was good sized and clean. Shower and sink did drain slow but not a deal breaker. Staff was friendly at check-in. Would stay here again.

Very affordable hotel with a very courteous staff that goes out of their way to accomodate each customer. I have stayed at this same hotel many times over the past 1 1/2 years and have always been well taken care of.
