We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed

a wonderful and cozy room with a pretty outstanding view. the only downfall was the neighbors at night playing extremely loud music, I didn't know people still liked drake, other than that I'd definitely book this room again in the future.

Jim was a great host. Very responsive! The place is small but set up perfect with great use of the space. We had all the comforts of home. Our favorite part was sitting outside listening to the radio by the fire. While stargazing! There’s a small but nice park not far from the house and several local restaurants. The grocery store is small but has a little bit of everything, just expect to pay double. I was a bit sticker shocked. There is a bigger grivery store in Alpine with reasonable prices about 30 min away. Big Bend isn’t too far from this location.Overall a great place to stay. Will definitely be back!

Our stay at Casa La Vista in Marathon, TX was absolutely wonderful. Wilma was an exceptional host—her communication was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. The house itself was perfect: immaculately clean, thoughtfully laid out, and beautifully designed to take in the sweeping mountain views.At night, the dark skies were filled with stars—an unforgettable sight. Every detail was clearly well thought out, from the comfortable furnishings to the provided coffee (a much-appreciated touch in the mornings!).We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Casa La Vista to anyone visiting the area.
