Guests will have exclusive and private access to the entire cottage, deck, and hot tub. Enjoy and make the space your own during your stay. Self-check-in is available 24/7 via a secure lockbox located near the main entrance for your convenience.

ADDITIONAL RULES
• Rental Agreement: Must be signed within 72 hours of making the reservation or the booking may be subject to cancellation.
• Check-in/Out: Check-in is from 4 PM to 11 PM; check-out is before 10 AM to allow us to prepare for the next guests.
• Pet Policy: 1 dog welcome (fee applies). No cats or puppies under 12 months.
• Quiet Hours: 11 PM – 7 AM to ensure a serene guest experience.
• No-Smoking: Strict no-smoking policy (includes vaping/e-cigarettes) inside the cottage.
• Safety & Care: No climbing, pushing, or hanging from structures or cliff edges.
• Hot Tub: Must remain covered when not in use. Please place covers on and secure latches after every use.

Five Stars! Our two-week stay at Ridge on the Chimney in Juniper Cottage was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with this unique and special place nestled near Margaree Harbor and Inverness NS.The thoughtfully designed layout of the cottage made for an incredibly comfortable and effortless living experience. Every detail was carefully considered—daily life essentials were beautifully integrated without overwhelming the space, creating a perfect harmony of aesthetics and function.The wood-fired hot tub was a highlight, offering a wonderfully relaxing way to soothe sore muscles after long days of hiking, all while enjoying breathtaking sunsets over the majestic ocean views. The private path to the beach was a daily adventure, where we delighted in wildlife sightings—brown hares, eagles, seals, and a variety of fascinating birdlife.The tranquility and solitude of this retreat provided invaluable comfort and a much-needed escape for our spirits. Scott and his team exemplify genuine care and hospitality. Their friendly, attentive service and pride in maintaining the property truly made us feel special. Their local knowledge and enthusiasm for sharing the area’s natural wonders, restaurants, and events enriched our stay even further. The cleaning team was beyond awesome ( and I know, I spent a career in commercial facilities contracting!)We have never felt so comfortable, relaxed, and reluctant to leave as we did at Ridge on the Chimney.

What a beautiful location! The lovely cottages overlook a picture-perfect beach cove. Cottages were wonderfully designed and decorated. Host was responsive and friendly. We look forward to our next visit!

The home was wonderful with fantastic sunset view of Chimney Point and the water. Used the wood fired hot tub under the stars each night. Very relaxing and comfortable spot. Don't forget to book dinner at Woodroad just down the road if you visit over a weekend! Superb experience!

All that was promised and more

The property was in a spectacular location with beautiful views of the cove and St. Lawrence Sea with easy access to the beach. The modern cottage was thoughtfully done with beautiful finishes. Even the bed, bedding, bathroom, and kitchen were all comfortable and beautiful. The views from the expansive living room windows made relaxing that much more enjoyable. The property managers were available, responsive and delightful. Their guidebook was spot on, with fabulous restaurant suggestions, great hikes, great artisen shops we took advantage of seeing. We stayed for 6 nights. The quiet, the wood fired hot tub under the stars after a magnificent dinner was uncomparible. I wish the property was closer to home. It would be my go to place.
