The Deck is a secluded haven, set on 1 hectare of forest, offering a private escape with breathtaking valley views. Just seven minutes from town, this tranquil retreat blends luxury with a homely charm. The open-plan living space is warm and inviting, while expansive windows bring nature’s beauty indoors. Unwind on the veranda with a glass of wine as the sun sets, or take a peaceful stroll to the river, where you can sit on the rocks and soak in nature.
The Space
The open plan living spaces are perfect for family and friends to eat, drink and relax together. Floor to ceiling windows and doors open to the deck and outdoor living areas, letting the breeze flow through in the summer, augmented by reverse-cycle air conditioning. In the cooler months, let the wood fire warm you. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen is great for cooking and baking. The house is designed for seamless, single-level living, with all spaces conveniently located on the ground floor. The master suite is a spacious room with a large sliding door that opens onto a private veranda with garden views. It also features an ensuite with a shower and toilet.
The second bedroom includes a queen-sized bed and a large sliding door that leads directly into the garden, bringing in natural light and fresh air. The third bedroom has two single beds and also features a large glass sliding door with garden views. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower, bath, and toilet. Additionally, the house includes a dedicated office space, a laundry area, and an extra separate toilet for convenience.
The outdoor area offers ample space for dining, games, and enjoying stunning sunsets over the paddock. At the back of the house, a spacious playground with a swing provides endless fun for the kids, while the open area is perfect for a friendly game of cricket.
