Pros Host checked in to make sure arrived. We were provided with firewood. They allow pets for a feeConsThe backyard was not completely fenced and faced a public street and our dog wandered to the other side before we realized. My boyfriend had to clean out the firepit because it was full of soot and broken glass. The road was relatively busy and noisy and there were residential homes on the other side. The futons in the cabin were not comfortable. Since the weather was getting bad and we would need to stay indoors, we decided to go home after two days of our four day stay. There are no decent places to dine in marienville.the itilian restaurant is closedand their mobile food truck was out of everything. We went to some Shamrock restaurant down the road from our cabin and the food was cold and soggy..completely inedible.

The most unexpected part that left a lasting impression was the Sasquatch in the woods. The cabin had everything we needed, the area was quiet and felt very private yet close to the stores. The host was very responsive and helpful! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I spent our Anniversary weekend at Maple Villa. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Pictures do it no justice. It is so comfy and cozy! The bed is like cotton balls. We are looking forward to visiting again in the Spring to explore. Thank you Brittany and Johnny! I highly recommend staying here. If I could I would give them 100 stars!

We had an amazing time! The host was so friendly, and gave us the run down of the property...The land itself was beautiful, offering trails we were able to walk our dog on, and all of the activities that were available were much appreciated! The cabin was gorgeous, clean and had everything we couldve asked for! Although it rained, we still made the best of it, and had an amazing night away...Thank you!!! WE WILL BE BACK YEARLY!!!Sincerely, Heather, Jamie, & Echo

Cabin seemed pretty new. Brittany the owner was very accommodating . This cabin is basically for 2 people . The couches are very hard, and not much bigger that a twin. There are no tea towels, or any bowls. But there is free axe throwing, which was fun. It was quiet there, and we even saw an albino deer a few times. There are bikes to ride on the nearby Rails to trails.

We had a great time, the cabin was great. We were bummed that the pictures showed swings by the fire pit but here that was only at a certain cabin. The big foot and axe throwing were great. Communication was hard, we did not have much success communicating through the app. We were thankful that we ran into Johnnie on site and he gave us some ideas on where to visit during our stay.

Nice Weekend Getaway

The cabin was just as advertised. The girls loved exploring the common areas outside and walking the paths through the woods. The cabin itself was fairly clean. The one window had a small crack and the bedroom window didn't shut completely (fixed while we were there) but overall was very nice. The back deck/fire pit was welcoming. We were able to roast hotdogs the first night but it rained the entire second day of our stay. We tried to play the Wii that was provided but couldn't seem to get it to work. All in all, it was a very nice, private weekend away. We would definitely come back.

Fall getaway

Cabin was clean, quaint and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed the front porch and backyard fire pit with seating. The deer that passed through the property was a special treat. Wish the area had more options for eating out, groceries but the remoteness was part of the chatm

Cute cabin!

I just wish it listed on the property you’re with three other cabins, and let you know which cabin you’re actually in. Other wise good stay. If people are bringing their dog, please clean up after your pet outside. It’s common courtesy. AC works great! Cute little town. Cabin was adorable though.

Nice little cabin, very quite, Hosts were accommodating

It is advertised to sleep more than what really would work comfortably. But I guess doable. Futons are just that futons. They are not the greatest to sleep on. Host was going to provide a blow up bed, but wasn't needed as the others that were supposed to come, did not. So the two of us were comfortable. Place was clean and a very nice cabin. I will come again when I return to the area again.
