Nice, simple, Corel with a fantastic location

Very nice, simple, hotel in a fantastic location. Definitely well priced. Friendly staff. A/C works well. There is a a 1-1/2 story flight of stairs to get from entrance up to the lobby, which is a bit arduous with luggage. The front desk attendant saw us arriving and came down to to help which was great, but we had more bags than she had hands, so still some work. Luckily there is an elevator going up to the rooms.

The location is great and staff are helpful. However, we were initially placed in a room at the top floor of the hotel which was extremely hot due to a grand ceiling window. Once we got into our room, it was also very hot in there and so we turned on the ac but after 3 hours, the room still wasn’t fresh and we were sweating. The hotel staff kindly moved us to another room with working ac. Only this time, the Chromecast on the projector did not work and the staff could not help us. This wasn’t a huge issue but it was a bit annoying after dealing with the ac issue prior to this. All in all, we were there for the city and the hotel was a nice place to rest our heads.

Fantastic staff, great location, but the rooms are small and need a bit of work. We had to swap rooms after the first night as our bed was broken, and the shower & sink leaked in the room we were moved to.

We ended up going to another hotel. The AC was broken which they knew before they charged us for the night and gave us the room key. The room was extremely hot. The offered a fan . I was very upset that they did not say anything knowing they had a problem!! Another customer was complaining as well and requested a refund. I won’t go back to this one. They should have been honest and tell us about the issue right away. Very upsetting .

Very well located

Well located amazing spot. Everything went well from A-to-Z. The only negative point from that hotel is no tables or night tables to put anything the night tables are very, very small hardly to put an iPhone on.

Convenient and Comfortable

Very convenient location for a brief visit to Marseille as a tourist. Excellent price and wonderful setup. The room was a little tight with the large bed, but was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Only negative was the hike up two flights of stairs to get luggage up to the front desk for checkin.

Fantastic location in Marseille

Hotel right at old port could not have better location. The stairs up to reception means it would not be suitable for some visitors. Rooms small but clean and comfortable good WiFi. Staff friendly and helpful. Security excellent as it’s a busy area. Didn’t have breakfast. Would recommend again 20 minutes walk from train station or two metro stops. Ferries across street and bus stop to notre dame there as well .
