The Saskatoon Inn used to be a lovely destination and has now deteriorated to a point that it is not comfortable or enjoyable. The whols hotel smells like smoke. Very dirty arounf the property.

We have stayed at the Saskatoon Inn regularly over the last four years.Through the last year the condition of the property, room clealiness and service has deteriorated. The room we stayed in was not clean .We viewed several after our initial assignment which was lacking in standard furniture and had an observable large stain on the carpet. The the corner suite we "settled" with smelt heavily like smoke and no offer was made to rectify this. It also was missing standard tables and once in it we found empty liqour cans, crumpled up tin foil from fast food behind the curtains and considerable hair in the shower. The sheets were worn and felt well used. We were never offered an upgrade as per my gold member status. I brought cleaning wipes with me and wiped down the whole room. It needed it.The staff can ony work with what they are given. I do believe they were trying based on the parameters set out for them by management. It is very sad as we had perviously enjoyed all our times there. We may not be back.

booked a room in advance, I booked through expedia, requested for a rollaway bed. Had a direct message from the hotel, saying I quote “ Good Afternoon (name) , We do not have rollaway bed but we do have air mattress available and we will deliver the one prior to your arrival. We do not charge for an air mattress. Thanks. 12:49 PM “ I checked in around 4 ish and no bed, had to call and go there in person to get them to get me one. The lady said they didnt have no more beds and if they didnt deliver it, then we have no beds. Soon after I asked another worker and finally got the bed delivered. But it was late, around 9-10 pm. We were getting ready for bed and the bed was already deflated and most definitely has a hole. Its late and we wont disturb others by pumping up that mattress with the air mattress pump(electrical) Morning comes, I get told from I believe is the gm and says how was your stay. I said not that great. And that we had a bed deflated, and that one of us had to sleep on the floor, and he said how come you didnt come to the front or phone the front. I said the same thing, I dont want to disturb you or other guests at 11-12 am late at night. And Besides I was told that if the bed wasnt delivered then you guys have no beds. The gm said they had lots of beds, more than enough. I mentioned the lady that helped me before said this to me, and as K mentioned I recognized her and she quickly went to the back of the office. All in all. Not a very good stay.
