Extremely friendly staff. Manager of hotel is 10 star guy! Gorgeous views and the hotel is run with true professional service. Shuttles all day long down to local retail shops. The great reviews and fair price is why I selected them. Pool was great! You will not be disappointed!

We had a great stay in the Villa Romita portion of the hotel. I enjoyed walking the path lined with rosemary, lavender and olive trees down to the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and greeted us by name as we entered the hotel. Anytime we needed assistance they were able to help us and did so with a smile. The breakfast had a wide selection of options which met both mine and my husband’s needs. We definitely utilized the free shuttle bus into Sorrento which was easy to locate and schedule with the front desk. The view from the pool was incredible; the pool itself was nice and refreshing. Our room was cool after hours in the hot sun and it was always clean. We were able to enjoy a late afternoon drink on our balcony overlooking Sorrento, normally with a nice breeze. We liked the quietness of the location but enjoyed the proximity to Sorrento and its port. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 day stay at Grand Hotel Hermitage. We were met at the hotel entrance by Renato, hotel manager. He made us feel right at home. All the staff are so helpful. The room over looking the Naples Bay is amazing. Nice pool. Very good dining options. We also booked an Amalfi boat tour through the hotel. We met one couple from England that told us they have been coming this hotel 20 years in a row!

This is a lovely hotel in a peaceful location yet minutes walk to the nearby village. Our room was always kept clean and fresh towels every day.The pool area is very nice and spotless.I hope to return again soon.

I love the fact that the staff are professionals. The dining room is excellent, and the breakfast is okay. I like the fact that they organise tours and airport pick-up and drop-off. It would be good to know if there are security cameras in the villas and hotel hallways.

Our stay here was fantastic. The staff are incredible. Helpful and kind, nothing is too much, and always had time for you. The location is out of town, however they run a free shuttle bus in and out of Sorrento pretty much all day everyday on the hour, so it's not an issue. There is a lovely little village called St Agata, 5 min walk away, with restaurants and shops. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and the breakfast is very good, plentiful and lots of choice. I don't normally eat breakfast but I def recommend this. Our room had everything we would need, a little dated but very clean. The pool area was clean and plenty of sunbeds, towels provided. Food and drink available all day. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Grand Hermitage Hotel was the definitely the perfect choice for us. The hotel decor is a bit dated as you can clearly see in the photos but the rooms are kept pretty clean and the view from the room was outstanding. I would choose this hotel for that view over and over again. Considering this view, it is a bit of a distance from Sorrento so you have to plan for that bit of travel time and cost in your planning. Overall a great hotel. It’s 25 minutes from the main town but with free shuttle bus. Ten minute walk to a small town with lovely restaurants and bars at half the price of restaurants in Sorrento. Staff are friendly. Spotless rooms.

O hotel é um pouquinho longe do centro de Sorrento, mas em uma região mais alta muito agradável, especialmente no verão porque é mais fresco. Eles possuem uma van de transporte para o centro, com horários agendados, facilitando o deslocamento para quem não está de carro, ou vai viajar pelo porto. Ficamos na parte da Villa Romita que é cerca de cinco minutos caminhando dá região de Sant’Ágata, que possui um pequeno comércio, mercado e vários restaurantes de boa qualidade. Adoramos!

We stayed in room 603 of the Villa Rosita. The room was emaculate with a beautiful view of the bay and Mt. Vesuvius. The hotel staff and dining service was perfect. They helped arrange local boating tour and a local lemon and olive farm dining experience. The shuttle to Sorrento is awesome for shopping and dinning in town. It is beautiful view with quiet mountain villa vibe. 100% satisfied.
