The Shearer’s Lodge
The Shearer’s Lodge is set in a beautiful location overlooking Wellingrove Creek. From the front verandah, guests enjoy views of the quaint Waterloo Matheson Church, with the picturesque Matheson Valley stretching out between the Waterloo Ranges.
Originally built as the shearers’ quarters for the working shearing teams on Waterloo Station, the building has been thoughtfully restored and now offers guests the charm of its historic past combined with modern luxury and comfort.
The Space
The Shearer’s Lodge sits within its own private setting, close to the historic shearing shed. The accommodation is ideal for couples, families, or group bookings.
For exclusive use of the Lodge, a minimum booking of four rooms (8 guests) is required.
Combining classical rural style with contemporary comforts, guests have access to a fully equipped modern kitchen and a spacious lodge room featuring a magnificent stone fireplace — the perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of this historic rural property.
