The hotel staff were great. The evening meal was very good - also really enjoyed walking around the grounds before dinner and drinks in the sunshine in the garden. Hotel room was excellently fitted and wonderfully spacious. Only issue is that it was at the top of the main stairs and close to the kitchen/wash below it. This meant there was some noise fairly early in the morning and later in the evening.

Comfortable and relaxing.

Delightful country house hotel with friendly welcoming staff. Lovely gardens, large comfortable room and great bathroom. Easy walk into the heart of historic Cromford. Visiting relatives so only had breakfast which was excellent.

Hotel is in a beautiful setting. Just off the busy A6 but you wouldn’t believe it. Lovely gardens, every member of staff friendly, polite and looking to help you. Clearly training staff is key here. Room lovely, spacious and relaxing.

Gardens, claw-foot tub and gourmet food.

Loved this inn! Will probably return to Derbyshire just to stay here. It was a large comfortable room (very comfortable bed!) with a claw foot tub. The food was gourmet, and the setting was idyllic. I oogled over the gardens, and enjoyed the cows in the neighbouring field.

Had a brilliant weekend stay here, in a great location for visiting the shops in surrounding towns & adventuring in the beautiful Peak District. The room was a great size and the bathroom was huge! Lots of storage space for clothes too. Pretty sure we got an upgrade from what I had originally booked too! Everything was clean and the room was cleaned while we were out during the day. Breakfast was included in the booking and was very nice, with lots of choice and great service. Would definitely stay here again if I’m visiting the area again.

Birthday surprise

10 out of 10 for our stay last friday.it was a birthday surprise for my partner and oakhill hotel was fantastic, they had a banner put up in our lovely room and a birthday card on our table with our dinner really made our stay so special. The staff were all amazing from checking in to dinner to breakfast to checking out was 1st class a credit to oakhill.thank you so much we will be back.
