Overnight stay was good value for money knew the RAD group owned the hotel so will expect their amazing standards once it’s refurbished good was lovely used the pool sauna and steam room the room was a great size overall enjoyed our stay

The Hotel has many bedrooms but only a small lounge/public area. The rooms are clean but with old, dated furnishings. Plenty of free parking and close to the promenade for walks. Needs upgrading

Poor hotel requiring upgrades and service

The hot tub was out of service and drained down. No notification at check in and I also called the night before my stay requiring about opening times of the health suite. The room was very hot on arrival and very cold during the night when heating gets turned off. There was no way of heating the room as it was under the hotels control. The pillows were flat, empty and lumpy with that was left inside the bag. The flexible metal coil on the hand held shower pipe was uncoiled and damage revealing the tube inside. This left a sharp exposed metal coil on the shower pipe. In the rear court yard there is lots of noise into the bedroom areas where other function rooms upstairs have windows open

Lovely hotel

Lovely big family room with very nice shower room. Tea ,coffee, hot chocolate and cookies in the room on arrival . The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very nice with an excellent choice of hot and cold food. The staff were very friendly

Friendly yet professional staff from check-in to departure. Very comfortable room with well stocked hospitality tray and bathroom toiletries. Lovely to see large bath sheets for drying yourself. Evening meal delicious and lots of choices as was breakfast the next morning. Would definitely return if we ever had to come to Ayr again. Thank you

Fairfield short break

Had problem with toilet running all night for two nights was repaired on third day of stay it was very difficult to sleep with the constant running water staff apologetic they had to call a plummer into repair the fault even the door of the toilet closed could still hear the running water
