Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great place to stay.

The ac filter needed cleaned badly so we pulled it out so the ac would work better. The entire unit needed cleaned as it was keaving a musty smell in the room.

Beds were comfortable but rooms were dated and not very clean.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was very dated and dusty, especially the curtains, and the sheets had stains. There was no hand soap, only a facial bar, and when the AC came on it left a terrible smell in the room. The check-in experience was also uncomfortable, with the staff member making strange small talk with my wife. The only positive was being able to park right in front of the room, which made loading and unloading easy. We wanted to leave early, but since we would not have received a refund, we decided to tough it out. I would not stay here again and would rather drive the extra 30 minutes to Lexington for a much better hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Upon our arrival, we met Steve and he was very welcoming. The renovated train station is beautiful and extremely clean and the rooms are very spacious. It was enjoyable going outside to give John George and Sadie some treats. They are both so sweet! We also loved seeing the mares and their foals out in the pasture. I would pick this beautiful country setting over a busy hotel!
