Room and as clean, beach was nice see why it's called the golden zone the sand if full of pyrite. Only down side was the beds mattress. Well used I must say. Staff were friendly.

The staff were extremely attentive, very very clean facilities, the pool and its surrounding garden seating areas were unbelievable. Be aware it can be extremely noisy on weekends due to the area around the property. Excellent views from the bedroom and right on the beach should you prefer the beach to the pool. Great value for what was received.

Our room was always well cleaned, our room was a suite, but was nothing like one. Not a photo on the wall, a weird couch in another room. Disappointing. We had two great patios, but no table to put a drink or anything else. We had to bring in a chair from the inside in order for us to have a table on the patio Overall, great location, great beach. Very few chairs at the beach perhaps eighth in total.

This might be a Marriott property but definitely not the customer service of a Marriott, unless this is the new normal within the chain. No customer service what so ever from check in to check out, our room was late at check in by an hour no help to take luggage to our room no instructions as to how the elevator system function at the mazatlan properly and you are definitely better off purchasing drinks outside the property because body is manning the bar area at the pool or elsewhere very understaffed property along with an absurd amount of noise from the Banda music that can play well into the night. Beware this is not a Marriott quality property.
