We felt safe in the area, and enjoyed walking on the beach. The staff were friendly and the food was good. We were on the ninth floor and despite a long-standing knee problem, we ended up taking the stairs up and down due to the elevators being inoperable or having ridiculously long wait times. I don’t think there was a day we were there where there wasn’t some maintenance person working on at least one of the elevators. We paid extra for an ocean view in a room that was outdated and worn. I’m talking chips out of the tub, cracked tiles and an outlet hanging out of the wall - when we could have had a renovated room that was steps from the ocean for less. I was at this resort years ago, but this is not the calibre I remember it being. I’m not sure if the new rooms had better towels, but ours were various shades of brown and mostly frayed or worn. We would never stay here again.

It is one of the best stays I have had in Mazatlan and it easily outshines my stay at the RIU in Puerto Vallarta. The good, staff, room where 5 star plus. My only thought was that it needs a real hot tub for adults only.

Needs an update, rooms marginally clean, needs more than 3 English tv channels. Food at buffets was good at breakfast, mediocre at dinner. Location was 20 minutes from Golden zone mostly by itself, some restaurants within 15 minutes walk.

The hotel is kept extremely clean and the staff are all very friendly. Food is OK with the Buffet being the best, the roast beef was excellent. Bars are all over the resort with rooming bars in the day time. Shout out Luis at the Sports Bar, he is the best. Very large beach with vendors but don't bother you. There is massages for $30 USD beside the resort but you need to book at head. Entertainment was not that good
