Sunsets are absolutely beautiful from the upper balcony, very family friendly, and owners were great to work with. Highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay at Heron Hideaway! Wow, that View! Even better than we expected…from every room upstairs, it was panoramic beauty! And the lake access… was easy and appears to be brand new stairs and dock. The home was clean, very well stocked, and I have to give props, even as new hosts it was clear they really thought of everything to make our stay comfortable! The location was peaceful and relaxing and easy to find. We loved the set up on main level being basically two master suites. The beds were comfortable, and everything matched the listing photos perfectly. We loved the downstairs for cozying out and watching TV! We didn’t bring our kids on this trip, but if the were there, they would have loved the sleeping arrangements downstairs!We especially loved the personal touches like the branded coffee mugs, the s’mores packets they left for us, and the fire pit outside with wood already stocked, such a fun and cozy bonus!Laura was very responsive and made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. We came here for a relaxing getaway and wow did we get it! I would not hesitate to recommend and we would absolutely stay here again!

Ok...well... This review will be mixed and coming from a bride that was planning a small intimate wedding with family from Michigan. I tried multiple time to get ahold of the host for her to answer some questions I had about the property. I tried for well over a month with no response. The day before our stay she contacted me through text and then after that she was super sweet and nice. However, I was stressed. Denise made it right and let us get into the house a day early to make sure we could take a look around to make sure the space was going to accommodate for a wheelchair in the main area for a wedding and a family dinner. She also owns the house next to it and because no one was renting it she allowed us to use the hot tub( also a bonus).We walked into the home and my feet were sticking to the floor in the kitchen and the entrance way. We borrowed a mop and my son washed the floors. There were many things that were broken and she was very aware and let my daughter in law know she had been sick and it was right before the season started and she was headed to take care of it all after we left. The house looked lived in. Not what I was expecting from the price point. I did decide to jump in the jetted tub the night we got there.. I had the lights off and a candle lit , it was so relaxing..then i jumped out and turned the lights on and there was mold floating in the tub after I ran the jets...It got cleaned while we were there too.
