What’s important for me when going for umrah is the walk to the masjid, having a comfortable room, with a clean bathroom to rest in, and a breakfast that sets me up for the day. While “ the address “ is Beautiful on the outside, it’s what’s on the inside that counts; although the lobby inspires you; the rooms let us down. The bathroom looked old, with dirty grout, and sparse toiletries. The beds are very comfy and great pillow choices, and very efficient if you call housekeeping for items. The cleaning of rooms is basic, and mostly just involves a quick bed tidy and empty of bins, with no onus on cleaning well, compared to other hotels. Waiting for lifts, doesn’t require too much patience, but with no sign which lift is opening there is a scramble across the lift corridor to guess which door opened. The breakfast left a lot to be desired , with little variety and no rush to refill empty stations, it can only be classed as disappointing. ( the poor guy making omelets for 500 people on his own deserves a reward for sure ) The walk to the haram, while definately a “ walk”, isn’t too taxing, even in the heat, but requires a level of fitness. Overall, if returning, for the prices being paid to stay here, I’d probably stick to the other hotels along the row.

Awful experience. Stayed at the Jumeirah and Hilton (excellent hotels) prior and I am left traumatised by the address as it does not meet Emaar standards. Check in staff were friendly however rest are rude Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. Several issues made our stay stressful. Upon arrival, our luggage was not brought until we called. It was misplaced and brought to us several hours later, which delayed our Umrah. While waiting, our room had a very bad smell. We called reception, the initial response from housekeeping wasn’t very helpful, eventually an engineer came and cleaned the drains. Our luggage was delivered but later another staff member tried to deliver someone else’s luggage so clearly no system in place. Breakfast area was overcrowded, there was very limited food options, subpar and not refilled. They also tried to write a review on my behalf whilst I was eating The location is not as close to the Haram, lifts were slow. We also had a problem with the room kettle, which wouldn’t switch off. When we reported it, an engineer came, and while inspecting it, the kettle lid fell off. The rude checkout staff tried adding this as damage. At checkout there is no system for luggage and tried to say we had to bring it ourselves and told some we “forgot it”. Staff are very untrained and unprofessional. Smirking when we wanted an uber instead of “private car” to the airport. Not 5* at all. No consideration for pilgrims

The property is very modern and has great interior design, the staff were great & friendly . The 2 towers were a bit confusing but I got the hang of after walking in a maze a couple of times. The shuttle service to the Haram was excellent and convenient. The room service food quality is 1 thing I did not like as well as the club lounge food (the soup was cold on both occasions) despite telling room service to give the soup extra heating, it still came cold (Harira Morrocan Soup) and over priced. The partial view of the Kaabah was very partial and I could barely see anything So honestly the charge for the view was somehow exaggerated.

A very good hotel but not elite standard. Breakfast could have been better e.g juice was from cartons rather than fresh and the general standard of breakfast items was poor. The room lacked some basics for a 5 star hotel and general attentivness to detail was weak. For example the room service remained in the room all day despite numerous reminders to pick up. Overall there are better options nearer the Haram and within the Jabal Omar complex so save yourself the walk and stay closer. Only silver lining was the check-in experience which was very good. This is a new hotel and Address need to up their game - over time the seems will unpick and larger gaps will start showing.
