The property is very nice and the service is very good. It is noisy at night if you need to sleep due to the clubs being very close. The room was excellent. The spa was also nice. Unfortunately I had to depart four days early due to the passing of a good friend and I was not able to get any refund for my prepaid room. This was very disappointing as I would like to return to the property in the future. I was hoping the property would at least credit me but I was told no.

We travel extensively and it was a pleasure our stay in this hotel.The staff is outstanding, caring,honest aand extremely helpful. The breakfast which was included in our rate was outrageously opulent. Of all the Hotels we stay in Colombia, this is the one we will always remember!

Old world charm with excellent service

This hotel oozed old fashioned charm. Excellent and courteous service. Very near to the centre of pablo but we cannot say we were bothered by any of the noise from there. Lovely appointed rooms. Plenty of choice both hot and cold for breakfast including a vast array of fruits. We were bothered by curiously someone partying in the room next to us (why is beyond us as it was party central in pablo. To be fair the staff did try to address this and it eventually stopped after several requests. This however was not the usual demographic of this hotel. There is a spa but we did not use it.

The staff at the hotel was really good. Really nice. We really enjoyed the spa. We used the jacuzzi and sauna most days and we also got a massage and a facial. What we didn't like is there was this kind of overriding feeling of the owner manager? Just controlling and being very fussy and overbearing to things was a really strange thing at the end when we were about to get into our cab to leave. We're checking out. We don't even usually have to check out of a hotel. They made a big foss over returning all the keys. It's just a little plastic key cards returning all the keys and you wanted to go up and inspect the room. We've never ever heard of a place where you can inspect the room. It took us an additional 10 or 15 minutes to check out while our cab is waiting. I don't know what the story is but we did not like that as part of it. It felt very awkward. It's a shame because it is a really beautiful hotel. The staff is truly truly wonderful but there was this just real weird off feeling about it. That kind of sprawled it for us
