Far from downtown, but not many options. Medicine hat in general is nearly impossible to park in in its center. Better to take a cab than drive downtown. You'll get a ticket. Kind of a spooky dirty town.

Got there at 6:00 pm on a Monday after driving 12 hours only to find there was a 20 minute wait to check in. When asked about it the person at the desk said there had been a line up since 4:00 pm. It was often like this on a Monday. Perhaps two people should be working. The rest of the stay was wonderful. Room was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was one of the best we have had.
