All and all good experience other than trying to get early check in. When asked about getting into our room early it was a firm No, not until 3pm. This was at 2:30pm. When the next shift arrived moments later they had rooms ready?

This was our first stay at the Avid Hotel Memphis - Southaven by IHG. The night manager Phyllis was amazing. She was very professional and helpful. Would recommend this hotel for a quick trip to Memphis.

Just a few changes needed

Trash cans inside building and outside were not kept empty and since ours were small inside the room it was a little frustrating. We were also hoping for better bkfst options. The staff was very friendly and basic needs were taken care of.

The hotel did not have soap in the shower. When we checked in I was expecting to make a cup of hot tea. The hotel was all out of tea bags or anything to enjoy others than hot chocolate and coffee. Too late for coffee.
