Situation:

This private estate (of around 120 hectares) is located on the road from Mahón to Fornells, very close to Arenal d'en Castell beach and the natural port of Addaia. From the property, it is very easy to visit the virgin beaches of the north of the island (Favaritx, Cavallería, Pregonda), and its proximity to both the port and city of Mahón and the fishing port of Fornells will allow you to visit these lively places and enjoy their renowned restaurants. It is essential to have a vehicle.



Exterior:

The farmhouse buildings have been renovated maintaining the typical characteristics (clay-type floors, exposed beams, old walls, etc.) and incorporating the necessary comforts for modern living. The house is accessed from the road via a perfectly passable 200m dirt track. Their location on top of a hill allows enjoying excellent views of the Menorcan countryside and pine forests. The property has a swimming pool (9m x 4m with Roman stairs) surrounded by a fenced grass area where children can play. There is also a pergola with a built-in barbecue, table and chairs for eating in the shade. The silence, privacy and tranquillity of this property are guaranteed as there are no neighbours.



Interior:

The interior of the house is on a single floor, although there are some areas accessed by steps. This is due to the original distribution being maintained, dating back to the 19th century.

Beautiful county side villa… that could be much better with a little bit more maintenance and care.

We had a very good time at Binimazoch, but we were disappointed by a couple of aspects. The house is beautiful, and the pool area is great, with nice surrounding grass area, bbq and porch. The furniture and overall status of the house is also good and we chose it because it’s in the country side with a lot of space for our dog to explore and run. The negatives: - no serving platters at all in the house (which is an inconvenience for a house planned for 8 persons9 - all the súrrounding terrain is extremely poorly maintained and you can not walk around except for the pool area. In the back of the house they even have broken furniture and other broken items waiting to be disposed? - They warn you about ants and mosquitos, which is okay for a country house, but there isn’t a single anti-insects or anti-ants spray in the house, so bring this with you in large quantities so that you can manage from day one. - little kitchen cleaning items available. A couple of courtesy single use puches with washing gel and that’s it. - poor internet connection with very limited wifi coverage. Again, beautiful house and we ended up having a very good time, but all the items listed above should be solved for a house with this rental price. I hope this feedback helps in improving this items for the future so that the house can offer its full potential.
