I chose this hotel because it is close to Boise State University and I was so pleasantly surprised how nice it is. I had dinner and drinks in the dining room and really enjoyed my dinner and the service. I was dining alone which can be “tricky” to get good service, but the server was extremely efficient and sweet. I will stay there again when I come to Boise.

Usually great , currently noisy for renovations.

They are under construction . So daytime is very noisy. I have stayed here several times and it is a great location to enjoy downtown Boise . This is the second time though I was told I would be comped the 18 dollar parking and then they charged me in the end . That is frustrating.

First, for the good, the hotel smelled lovely, it looked pretty and the rooms were nice with great amenities. BUT the pillows were AWFUL! Like someone shoved tufts of old used cotton into a pillow case. All of the tufts were super lumpy and separated. I also had the added privilege of being placed in a room next to the Ice/service room and elevator shaft. I was awakened by loud banging at random times throughout the night and early morning hours. When I first arrived I noticed ear plugs individually wrapped on the nightstand which I thought was a nice little touch, I didn’t know that they would actually be necessary.

It was very noisy. We were on the 9th floor and could still hear so much traffic and yelling on the street. We could also hear conversations from people walking in the hallway. The staff was amazing and the location was very convenient. However, there was an event the evening we stayed, and even though we had already paid for parking in the hotel garage, it was very difficult finding a space to park, and I had to have my companion guide me into a spot, with a lot of back and forth movement. If we had arrived at the hotel much later, I doubt we would have found a place to park.
