It is my go- to stay when I come back to CDMX for the last 8 years- the team and staff and so kind and cordial and they make everything easy. It feels like a home there and I love the welcoming nature and proximity to everything

I have to start with the problem: the rooms did not have potable water in the plumbing. There was potable water in a large container in the kitchen area but not even a separate container in the bathroom. We have stayed in Condesa several times in similar accommodations and for similar costs and have never been told the water wasn't potable. We should have been informed and/or they should have offered us a discount if this was an unexpected problem. While Fernando was helpful and the place was clean, it is unacceptable to advertise this as a fully functioning apartment.
I highly recommend this guest house. It is a beautiful and fully in tact example of the historic architecture of Condesa and has been sensitively converted without any major alterations to its character. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room faced a quiet street and had a large balcony with nice seating -- there was a separate balcony with French doors overlooking the lobby. I appreciated the tasteful and comfortable contemporary furniture, which contrasts in a nice way with the restored building. It's in a very safe area and just a few minute's walk to the elliptical street called the Amsterdam, and just beyond it, the Parque Mexico, which is stunningly beautiful. Everything about this guest house was excellent. I hope to stay here again!
the owner and staff were very nice and helpful during our stay at CH. I will stay here again!

Nice classic house but expensive for what I got, compared to stay in same are, the previous day, with much better amenities.
Hot water did not came out for my morning shower 😞
Anytime I come back to CDMX, I stay here. The staff is amazing, the rooms are quaint and cozy, and the location is ideal. The breakfast is always amazing and I love getting to meet people from all over coming to visit. The top spot to stay for a comfortable and home-y stay in Mexico City.
A lovely property with even lovelier staff! The location is great, and the room was simple but had everything I needed. Breakfast in the morning with other guests was a lovely feature! My one callout was sound travels through the property, but the neighborhood and other guests were quiet so it wasn’t a problem. I truly enjoyed my stay!
Hosts were attentive. Breakfast was easy and convenient. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. Very nice people. Will definitely be staying here again.
We loved eating breakfast in the outdoor patio, its location, and Josue and the staff were lovely!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Extremely helpful staff (bent over backwards to help us, set up tours, Covid tests, etc.). Fabulous location. Interesting 19th c. building with balconies overlooking the lobby area -- a plus (beautiful) and a minus (noise carried extremely well up to our 2nd floor room, and some people were doing 7am zoom calls). Fun to chat with other guests over breakfast. Would have liked more varied Mexican breakfast options. Would have appreciated drinking glasses & kleenex in room.
Loved it!! A beautiful 2 story home in the heart of Condesa! The people that are in charge of the place Fernando and Josue will make you feel at home, from recommending the best places to visit in Mexico to scheduling a Covid test to come to you! I recommend this place, will definitely come back!
The location, the space, the amenities amazing. My only thing was that the people below us had their music on ALL night into the morning and management was no where in sight. Had that not been the case, I would gladly return here. While management was apologetic in the end, there was no compensation for no sleep.
We only stayed one night at Condesa Haus, but enjoyed our time there. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were definitely not disappointed in any way. Would stay there again and longer next time.
Very pleasant stay inside a quaint single bedroom in a convenient area within Mexico City. Away from the hustle and bustle of Centrale, this area was very nice to walk around and served as a good hub to do day trips from. The room itself was nice - the bed is actually 2 twins pushed together, which i didn't personally like that much; never could get comfortable and had trouble sleeping. The bathroom was big and nice looking with a lot of tile. Shower/tub was good. Sink got clogged after a while of just running the water, but not a huge issue. Room itself was clean. Wish there was better lighting though - the lamps used were harsh on the eyes at night. Walls are a bit thin as well so you can hear anyone's conversation that they're having in the lobby, even downstairs (I was on the 2nd floor). No view from my room. No A/C either, but that's very common in Mexico apparently. The windows aren't very secure as anyone could access your room if you left them open (no screen - and there's steps right outside where someone could technically easily access (although there was barbed wire surrounding the premises on that side). Service was very good throughout the stay. Also, the safe didn't function in my room.
