This is my preferred hotel for Mexico City trips. The check-in is very easy and the staff is extremely attentive. The breakfast buffet has so many options and you meet so many people during breakfast. The first night I was placed in a room with an exterior window on the first floor which was extremely noisy. The staff was nice enough to move me to a different room where I was able to get some good rest. So keep in mind if you're a light sleeper ask for a room that does not face the main road. That one was also next to the upstairs patio / Jim door so during the day it was constant open and close. However at night it was quiet.

Centro Histórico is best location

Excellent location, short walk to Constitution Plaza, lots of shops and food venues, felt very safe, police everywhere. Streets in Historic Centro kept very clean. Many historical buildings, museums, former palaces and cathedrals to visit all within walking distance. Room good, bed very good. Bottled water replaced daily. No issues. Would have been nice to have mini fridge. Breakfast very adequate with daily hot choices, choices, fresh fruit. Desk Staff spoke good English and Concierge Edgar was very helpful. While we loved the location, you can expect to see derelicts sleeping on the sidewalk, disabled begging in the street, blind singing for coins,

property rooms are outdated. furniture is showing signs of wear and tear. Room that we had on 1st floor front corner was very noisy from the police officer outside who continuously was blowing his whistle and from the traffic especially trucks and motorcycles.

Staff is very friendly and helpful when transportation or directions is needed. Building needs a bit of renovation considering it is a HILTON company. Easy walking to el Zocalo and main historic places. Breakfast is very good. They offer many options. Breakfast staff (Yuri) very helpful and friendly.

Dont eat at the restaurant they give you the discount card for. The food is subpar and expensive. Reception desk could be friendlier. Terrace on 5th floor needs attention! WiFi is not secure! Breakfast buffet is average at best. Go check out Farmacia Paris is you enjoy showing! 2 blocks from the zocalo.
