Did not like the location. Going out from the hotel a big amount of street vendors. Could not exchange US dollars had to go to an exchange office in the middle of the street vendors. Old bathrooms in hotel. Good breakfast buffet. Very nice staff in the hotel. Specially Nayeli fantastic concierge

For the price and Hilton name , it was average. Very much a convention and wedding hotel ! Area is ok. Street closed to cars on Sundays . Demonstrations are frequent, so front door boarded up a military placed at front. The restaurant will not serve you only alcohol, unless you buy food. At the bar I was overcharged by Carlos , did not say anything, but there after every time we were there I requested an itemized bill , which seemed to me to be a chore !!

Great for families

We stayed for three nights at the Hilton Reforma. It is a very large hotel, with large rooms & many dining options. We had an excellent meal at El Cardinal which amazing hot chocolate that a local friend had recommended. We upgraded to include breakfast and happy hour, as well as be in a Junior Suite. The room was MASSIVE! We had a sitting area, large dining room, walk in closet and huge bathroom with separate tub and shower, and separate toilet. For such a large room we were surprised they were two double beds and not queens. The hotel is a bit tired, but well maintained and the housekeeper left us very sweet notes & kept the room to a high standard. My family loved the massive breakfast buffet which had a good variety and a high standard of food served. I will caution, we were robbed just down the street by Bellas Artes. Use EXTREME caution, especially when there are protests. We were not the only tourists targeted. It is a good location, near many great attractions. The pool is cool when not in the sun, but not used a lot so very quiet and a nice place to spend time.

Not so Goo

Hotel comfort is good, secured building and access. Furniture was stained and old. Food was good and service was excellent. Bathrooms need updating, as there are tiles that are all cracked, Tubs are super high so you can slip when coming out, very dangerous for an older person or kids. Next time im back in Mexico i will definitely look for a different hotel.
