The climate control apparently didnt work, so i froze the whole time. The lights turned off on me in the midddle of a shower. The tsblet that controlled everything had broken glass and i nicked my finger, luckily there was a cvs close. When we checked in, the printer ran out of paper, and it took the front desk person 5 minutes to stop flirting with some random lady to give us our room number.

The room was very clean, and that was wonderful. Two problems were that the shower water pressure was really, really bad; it was literally dripping out so showering was almost impossible. The second was the frost bathroom door, and the walls were not for us, but the sliding door to the bathroom would scrape when you close and open and make an ear-piercing sound.

CitizenM Miami Worldcenter is what happens when a hotel decides to actually get out of your way and just let you enjoy being somewhere cool. From the moment you walk in, everything works. Check-in is fast and mercifully painless, the staff is sharp without being overbearing, and the whole place feels like it was designed by people who travel a lot and got tired of nonsense. Clean lines, smart lighting, and a lobby that feels more like a well-curated living room than a waiting area. The rooms are compact but brilliantly thought out. The bed is absurdly comfortable, the linens crisp, and the tech—lights, blinds, temperature—does exactly what it’s supposed to do without making you feel like you’re solving a puzzle. You’re not here to pace the room; you’re here to sleep well, shower hot, and wake up ready for Miami. The location is dead-on perfect. You’re right in the Worldcenter with easy access to downtown, Brickell, and the beach without feeling trapped in tourist chaos. It’s convenient without being noisy, central without being soulless. Downstairs, the common areas invite you to linger. Coffee is solid, the bar knows what it’s doing, and the vibe is relaxed but intentional—no forced luxury, no fake boutique pretension.
