Here’s what I said to coral reef condos : Good Morning - I’m sorry to have to do this but I need to request a refund for last night- this was NOT AT ALL as advertised. The photos were lovely and made it look like a really pretty quaint place and the fact that it was next to the ritz Carlton gave us confidence to book it. However upon arrival it was dirty, the kitchen was just grimy and the bed hardly had any coverings and the bathroom was terrible with the tub having stains and other general grunge. It felt so unsafe that Ileft 20 min after checking in and fled to coconut grove to find a much nicer safer and accurately described hotel. I don’t understand how anyone expects to rent this apartment when it looksNOTHING LIKE the photos.also the smoke detector eas disabled and the sheets appeared dirty and there was no safety lock from the inside. I used points for this and Iwould like the points re-deposited into my account immediately. If not Iwill be escalating this and posting reviews everywhere about this awful experience. Do not believe the photos shown. The room was dirty and far more outdated than shown. The couch seemed broken and felt as though you were on the floor, the tv in the living room didn't work, there was mold in the one bathroom and no hot water, and finally the room with the double beds was blocking a door to another unit as if someone was going to push through it. I would not recommend this at all and have tried to get ahold of the office multiple times. Good luck.

The photos on the website and the actual room are totally different. our room had not been updated at all, it looks like it was renovated in the 90's and has never been taken care of. There is dirt in every corner, no place to hang the towels in the bathroom, the toilet paper holder fell off the wall as soon as I pulled on the roll of paper, and the floor of the bathtub looked dirty. The bed felt like a board and creaked. The bed was on a bed frame without a bed skirt and there was no bedcover other than a questionable fuzzy blanket. I'm not even going to get started on the "living room" and kitchen, everything was disgusting. We arrived late in the evening and had no choice but to stay there, but the next morning we went down to the office to let them know we were disappointed with the condition of the room and stated that the pictures on their site did not match what they were offering. The woman at the office said it's ok, she would not charge us the resort fee and kept the keys and said we would need to contact Expedia for a refund of the other three days we had booked. Expedia said they were sorry about our bad experience, contacted the property and the person at the desk said that we had not made a complaint! Therefore they would not refund us our money! DO NOT BOOK AT THIS LOCATION AND BEWARE OF LISTINGS ON EXPEDIA, THEY AREN'T WHAT THEY SEEM! DON'T EXPECT REFUNDS EITHER!

Location was great, close to the beach with private beach entrance. We had a nice Loft unit that had a balcony with pool and street views. Unit was spacious with full size fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher which helped save money. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Area felt safe and we felt comfortable walking around, both day and night. Bathroom was small, but the shower had a great pressure and plenty of hot water. Complex was quiet. Unit could use some updates (paint, furniture) but we are not high maintenance so it worked well for us! Value for price was good!

The bath towels were very small and thin, and with only 2 towels provided it was the biggest pain point. There was also difficulty with water temperature at different times of the day, resulting in a few cold showers no matter how long I waited for it to get warm. A lack of window shades covering the large window made it difficult to sleep. There were loud neighbors for a few nights and with the thin walls it was like they were standing in the room. The rooms could use some upkeep, as it is showing it's age with wear and tear. Location, ease of check-in, and free parking were all pros.

The building is old and in need of some repairs. The room was large but the furniture was old and worn out and the soft (couch, chair, etc) surfaces were clearly stained and dirty. The floor turned my feet almost black with dirt from walking barefoot.
