Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort

Beautiful view! Love the balcony.

Despite receiving instructions on access to the property, Upon arrival at the property the front desk advised us we were not on the “list” and they had not received an email from the owner with our names. We tried to reach the property manager unsuccessfully. Finally after messaging with Hotels.com I received a call back apologizing and confirming he did provide and email. After 1/2 hour wait and much stress and tears we made it into our rental. The rental was okay. It wasn’t the cleanest and there were bugs in the kitchen every morning that would scurry behind the fridge. There was no hand soap or face clothes. They did however have beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards for the beach so that was excellent. There was no dish soap either and the dishes from the cupboards smelled bad so needed to be washed prior to use. An amazing perk as well was the all day valet come and go for $10. This is an excellent feature. Overall for the amount of time we were actually there it was a fine stay but my first impression was extremely disappointing. The unit is at a prime intersection and the traffic is very loud where people raced all night. Ray and Rachelle were very friendly and responsive except the first day upon arrival.
