The best thing about this property is its proximity to MIA and one shuttle driver named Evelio. Evelio drives the airport shuttle during the morning shift. He goes out of his way to help you and feel welcome. Otherwise, if you have the misfortune of arriving in late afternoon/ evening, you will probably have a long wait and an unpleasant experience.
If you arrive by car and want to park there,it will cost you a steep $30 per day. Mind you, this is NOT a luxury property. They promise "light touch" cleaning during the week (Monday-Friday) if you stay for less than a week. We stayed 2 nights during the business week and no cleaning was done! I called reception to complain that the trash wasn't removed, the bed was unmade and the bathroom was not cleaned. She asked if I "reserved " cleaning that day! I read her their notice about daily "light touch" cleaning being provided Monday-Friday. She said she would send someone to bring some fresh towels and take the trash away. This was 10pm.
There are railroad tracks adjacent to the property. If you are bothered by jet noise, the railroad noise is worse. During the day, all day, you will hear loud construction noise, and during the night, it will be planes, trains and automobiles.
