Disappointed is an understatement. When I arrived, the trash in my room was overflowing and smelled. There was very little service at the beach and pool. They minimized their menus at both, so little options for food. The phone in my room was broken. Overall, just not a Ritz Carlton stay. The Loews next door has much better service and product for substantially less.

For an ocean view room, I was first assigned to a room in an auxillary building with a shabby, near broken elevator and on the 4th floor with palm trees blocking most of the ocean. After complaint to the front desk, they moved us to the main building with a real ocean view. So, excep for the first front desk staff who gve me the initial room, the other staff members were very nice, but the facility is not really close to 5-star.

Not a typical Ritz Carlton...weak staff (especially beach) ....atypical clientele, public beach, 2 drinks at the pool cost $60! (cheaper at the Breakers!)

The rooms and property were beautiful. I wish there were other options at the beach when umbrellas can’t be opened due to high winds.
