Great location within walking distance to the centre of Mijas and the beach. Would definitely book it again everything we needed for our stay in the well equipped apartment. It would have helped to have 2 keys though

We had a great stay here. Apartment is in great location so close to the beach which is a plus with young children. Very clean, good wifi, good air conditioning, lift access etc.. Good communication with owners Will be back ...hopefully!

Spacious apartment in lovely La Cala

Apartment was clean and well equipped. Couple of minutes walk to beach and not much further to centre of La Cala. Convenient for buses into Fuengirola and Marbella. La Cala itself is a very pleasant seaside town.

From the moment we meet Pepe who was waiting for us at the apartment we knew we had chosen well. Although his English was as good as our Spanish he managed to explain all that was needed. Also we had a contact number for Susan who is English and was available for any problems (which was none). We have been going to La Cala for 15 years, so know the a area well. The apartment is well situated for both beach and amenities. We will certainly be using the apartment again, dates permitting.

El piso es muy completo. Hay papel higiénico para empezar, aceite, azucar, té, ... Esto es muy agradable cuando llegues un domingo por la tarde. Se puede llamar a los propietarios para cualquier problema. Son muy simpaticos. Al inicio de nuestra estancia tuvimos mucho frio (fuera hacia calor, pero el piso esta dirigido al norte y al interior hacia unos 16 grados). Pensabamos que no habia calefaccion, pero después de 3 dias alguien nos dijo que el aire condicionado normalmente también puede servir para calentar, y en eso no habiamos pensado. En Bélgica no necesitamos aire acondicionado, pues no conociamos ese doble sistema. Pero si, funciono muy bien. Y mucho mas agradable por supuesto, porque los primeros dias solo queriamos estar fuera en el calor (la terraza también esta en el norte y no realmente hay sol). Me imagino que en el verano el piso debe de ser ideal, porque estara bien fresquito dentro. La Cala de Mijas es muy bonita, una playa y mar muy agradables para jugar con los ninos, varios parques infantiles, muchos bares y lugares simpaticos para comer.

Et bra sted å tilbringe ferie.

Boligen var helt ok. Vi hadde det bra og koste oss skikkelig. En ting trakk ned helhetsinntrykket veldig: Eier sendte ikke ut tilstrekkelig info med adresse, telefon-nummer kontaktperson. Dermed satt vi i Spania på ankomstdagen og måtte drive rent detektiv-arbeid for å få tak i eier. Da vi hadde fått slik kontakt og fant ut hvor vi skulle møte opp, var resten meget bra!

Appartement de standing répondant à toutes les attentes, se situant dans une localité très sympathique et dans un lieux tranquille. L'appartement est bien équipé se trouvant à environ 200 mètres de la plage. Geräumige Wohnung nur einen Katzensprung vom Strand

Wir waren mit drei Kindern da, zwei Kinder hatten ein Zimmer für sich und da das dritte Kind im Wohnzimmer schlief, hatte es quasi auch ein eigenes Zimmer. Die Wohnung selbst hat alles, was man für den Urlaub braucht, inclusive Waschmaschine (älteres Modell, bei dem man zum Starten den Knopf herausziehen muss). Eine schicke Terasse geht auch raus. Alles war sauber, nur halt mit den Jahren etwas abgenutzt (z.B. Fliesen, die Elektrik/Gas war etwas abenteuerlich und manchmal unklar, wir haben es aber herausgefunden). Die Wände sind etwas hellhörig, da in südlichen Ländern nicht isoliert wird, aber die Nachbarn waren rücksichtsvoll und es wurde immer gegrüßt. Die Wohnung befindet sich gleich neben der Schnellstraße, aber uns hat das nicht gestört. Die Kinder fanden, das Haus sähe aus wie ein Palast, wegen der vielen Motivfliesen, da sie das noch nicht kannten. In der Umgebung kann man viel unternehmen (Tarifa firmm - Wale, Benalmadena - Spaßpark, Definarium, überall Museen, Fuengirola - Zoo, Wasserpark), aber es gibt auch Spielplätze ganz in der Nähe, die auch mit Fitnessgeräten ohne Widerstand ergänzt wurden. Für ein paar kältere Tage hatten wir auch dicke Bettdecken gefunden und es gibt einen Kamin, für die heimeligen Herbsttage. Anfang Oktober war das Wetter manchmal mit kleinen Schauern 4Tage 28 Grad, 2 Tage 25 Grad, 1 Tag 23 Grad. Der Vermieter hat uns vom lidl abgeholt, weil wir die Straße wegen der Einbahnstraßen nicht gefunden hatten. Bei ihm empfielt sich rudimentäres Spanisch oder Englisch (er kann das selbst nicht so). Dann haben wir Geld gegen Schlüssel getauscht und fanden sogar Wasser im Kühlschrank für uns (nachts nach dem Flug sehr umsichtig!). Für die Abreise wollte er gleich die Abreisezeit wissen und er hat die Reinigungsfrau mit der Kaution geschickt. Also, wieder Geld gegen Schlüssel und fertig war's.
