Unfortunately the property was not worth the price.
That is with no fault of the staff, who were absolutely lovely and willing to help where they could. The restaurant is also excellent.
In terms of the negatives, it is incredibly loud in the area - fireworks, fire crackers, parties, loud music - even on weeknights. I would not stay here if I was a light sleeper. Even with earplugs it was still audible.
The rooms are incredibly warm and there is limited air circulation, if you room window does not open it will be an uncomfortable stay.
The housekeeping is not the best, in a newer hotel there was already mould in the grout of the showers and the silicon was coming away. Additionally there were stains all over the flooring in our room.
The location around the hotel is dirty, and there are limited restaurants or cafes worth visiting. There is not a lot to do and if you are a visitor to Milan unfortunately I think you’ll often find yourself on a tram or car leaving the area.
It is handy that they provide luggage storage.
Sorry to say I will not stay again, and I cannot reiterate enough that the staff are fantastic and none of this is their fault.
