Although the hotel's location was less than ideal, situated in what seemed to be an industrial estate, stepping into the lobby felt like entering an oasis of calm. The check-in process was smooth, and the atmosphere inside was welcoming.
My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and pleasantly quiet, aside from some occasional door banging around 11:00 PM. The comfortable bedding and well-maintained amenities made for a relaxing stay.
The restaurant had a nice ambiance and was not overly busy, making for a pleasant dining experience. However, the menu options were somewhat limited. On my first night, I ordered a Thai yellow chicken dish, only to find the meat undercooked, with a bright pink centre. When I raised my concern with the waitress, she insisted this was normal, though I remained unconvinced. Erring on the side of caution, I sent the dish back, which was disappointing. Additionally, wine was only available by the glass, which I found restrictive, as I prefer to enjoy a bottle and top up myself over the course of my meal.
The bar, while very quiet - I was the only patron - was a comfortable spot for a nightcap before heading to bed.
One standout feature was the airport shuttle service, which was excellent and much appreciated.
Despite a few shortcomings, the hotel provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would recommend it overall.
