The location is excellent if you want to be close to the Duomo! It is a 5 minute walk from there. To get there you pass through the major shopping district. Hotel is well renovated but the real steal is the price in an area where rooms go for 3-4x/ night.

The room(322)despite being clean and spraying cologne to get rid of the smell of sewage it still smelled horrible everytime we opened the bathroom door. We kept that door mostly closed but the area and the hotel had really good placement of the surrounding area to do shopping and dining.

The building is old, we check in late and we got the last room that smell stinky of cigarette. It’s not the room that i booked. We have no choice so we stayed in that room for a night and move to the rooftop room the next day, without a view but better.

We were in Milan specifically to see The Last Supoer and The Duomo. This modern hotel was very conveniently located. The staff and room were excellent. Since we had to leave super early the next morning, they made us “to go” Breakfast Boxes. Definitely recommend them for anyone going to Milan, especially if you enjoy modern art. And the Galleria is a 5 minute walk!

Lobby is very small on the ground floor. Reception area is on the first floor and extremely small. Carpet on the second floor (the floor of our room) was very dirty and torn in many places. Room: we stayed at Grand Palace Cheap, old and dirty furniture and rug is old and dirty. Air conditioning: no control panel. The first day we were cold. The second and third day we were sweating. Electrical switch: one only controls the lights. 3 small lights. In the ceiling only. No phone system. You have to use WhatsApp to communicate with the front desk. Nothing in this place is 5 stars; barely 3 stars Cheap labor of unprofessional people makes you wonder who gave this place 5 stars!! You feel disappointed and deceived the whole time especially you pay large nightly rate. Location is good but there are several other hotels in the same area. This is definitely a place to avoid and find another real hotel in the same neighborhood!
