Worst stay ever!!
Flew from the UK early hours of the morning (got up at 3am) and came to Milan for a nice get away. We had read through some reviews prior to staying here and knew that there would be some noise as it was a residential area and an area surrounded by restaurants and clubs, which we didn’t mind. But the other reviews completely play down the amount of noise there was. The noise didn’t come from the clubs, it came from the surrounding neighbours and restaurant this place backed onto. The neighbours above were seemingly doing construction or completely redoing their house or something because there was constant hammering sounds throughout the night into the early hours of the morning. There were also multiple times where people would sit directly outside the bedroom window shouting on the phone and at one point it sounded like some domestic issue going on. The people who worked in the restaurant at the front slammed doors and chucked glass. The walls are so thin that it felt like all of these noises were in the room with us. Due to this noise, we didn’t get a single night where we had a good rest. We asked Italianway if there was any chance that we could move elsewhere, they gave us an option to move but it would be 50€ extra! This should’ve been offered without charge out of common courtesy. Hotel.com have kindly send us vouchers to use for our next trip but have not had anything from Italianway. I do have recordings of this noise but unfortunately I am unable to attach them.
