Great stay at a great price

I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The room was so cute a with high, exposed painted ceilings and wood and carpet flooring that made it homey. Bret was very helpful, and told us about the Hop for free and easy transportation to local venues. The breakfast items could have been replenished proactively, and the gel fireplace turned on since it was cold outside.

My husband and i enjoyed our one night stay. The check in process was very simple and the front desk staff was helpful while we unloaded our car. The room was clean and spacious. We had a great view of the city and the Public Market. We were within walking distance to many things and overall had a great stay.

Best breakfast options I’ve experienced

Hotel was nice. My booked room wasn’t ready when we arrived as we were checking in early but the front desk was very accommodating to find us a room that was ready. The street is busy at night. Great restaurants nearby walking distance and the breakfast options were great!

Too Much Money To Be Just Okay!

Great location and wonderful historic building make this Homewood Suites unique. We always loved this hotel and have stayed here quite a bit. Unfortunately, lately, we have noticed the hotel upkeep and customer service is inconsistent, to the point of total frustration. Some examples: - Breakfast: Coffee and hot water always cold, no one wiping counters or replenishing: one day- no fruit, next day- no peanut butter, cream cheese, or tea and still an hour to go before closing time. Staff annoyed when we knock on kitchen door and ask for missing items. - Ask front desk for clean towels and trash pickup. Return to find not enough towels, soiled towels still on floor and no trash pickup. Ask cleaning staff working right outside our room for assistance and we’re told it’s not their assigned room!

Beautiful room and hotel but we did not receive any room cleaning during the 4 days we were here. We ran out of towels and the front desk person said she was the only one there and could not bring more towels. We also had no body wash or lotion in the bathroom containers.

They seemed to be undergoing a change in the service area, the coffee was rarely ready in the morning, as were other things on the breakfast menu. However, the manager and front desk staff were top notch and helpful all the way!
