Took 45 minutes to check in. Room next door had a couple screaming and yelling at each other. Very scary. I didn’t feel safe. I will never stay there again.

Staff was great! Even the rooms assigned me looked great! I’ve stayed at this La Quinta many times, and I like what it has offered. But, there was a glitch this time. The first room assigned me, when I turned bathroom light on, there was a large cockroach in the bathtub. There were 2 more on the dresser by the TV, and a 4 th behind the toilet. I was discreet when I spoke to front office people and they immediately changed my room. However, upon turning on the bathroom light in different room, there was a cockroach on the wall. I have never run into this before at this place. Sadly, I won’t go back unless this problem is fixed.

We ended up checking out because of rooms not being cleaned, 1 bed was stripped bare and bedding was in the room, but all over the place. I was unsure if bedding was the clean or dirty bedding. I found a pill under the sink in plain sight. Both bathrooms had hair in the showers. Issues with rude staff regarding shuttle ride for 3rd occupant flying in. Shuttle left him at the airport and i was told it would be at least another 45 minutes for him to get picked up, so we checked out and did it ourselves. Staff didnt communicate this to shuttle driver, so 2 more rude calls were received demanding he come out of airport NOW. Even after being told it wasnt needed now, another call came demanding the same! When checking out, i told front desk staff why we were leaving without staying the night, and he just said "thank you" ?!?

The hallways stunk and the carpet was pulled up and was a hazard to walk. There was no tv remote control in the room. The toilet made loud noises. The room service bothered me when I was still trying to sleep even though I let them know I’m leaving at 10:30am

The front desk clerk was asleep in the office. I was trying to find someone to check me in for 15 minutes. This was about 8:30 PM, not 3:00 AM. Finally a lady walked out. I said, “you’ve been back there this entire time?” She just ignored my question and sleepily continued to check me in.

There were people off the street sleeping on the chairs and sofa in the lobby. There were people, off the street sleeping in the hallways. I took pictures of it all. The carpet has many stains throughout the hallways. Receptionist had a hard time understanding English. This is not a hotel I would ever bring my family to, I booked online because I was flying out, I almost stayed at another hotel once I saw it, but was flying out the next day so I stayed.

The entire building smelled heavy of weed. There was a guy sleeping in the hallway next to my room. In the morning, he was still there. The doors that are supposed to be locked are not locked. The bed was sagging and the breakfast was almost not existent unless you liked plain cereal and bread. Stairs to door eight were icy and not cared for. Very disappointing for a LA Quinta.

For one, booked a king bed room and instead got a full sized bed. One of my stays before I booked a double queen and instead got 2 double beds. At about 10 am, the door was knocked on for check out. 10:34 am, door was knocked on again for check out so I opened the door and told them I was extending for another day. At 10:46 am my door was knocked on AGAIN. Was asked when I was checking out and told them I was extending my stay for another night and he rudely told me to go talk with the front desk. Check it at 11 like what?! Went to go extend my room and there were so many issues! and when I asked to go get my stuff from my room, the maid I spoke with about extending my stay was already in my room and threw away ALL of my stuff. Clothes, food, phone charger, watch charger, etc. like WHAT?! Could tell the housekeepers don’t clean anything if they don’t think it was touched. That’s disgusting.
