Nice for the price

We recently stayed at this home and had a mixed experience. While the location was excellent and the price reasonable for the area, the property could definitely use some attention. Upon arrival, we found the home not as clean as expected. The third-floor room with double beds had a noticeable mildew smell, and the bathroom ceiling appeared to have either dirt or possibly black mold. Both the dishwasher and washing machine were functional but required some effort and maneuvering to operate properly. That said, the hosts did provide plenty of bath towels, which was appreciated. With a bit more maintenance and care, this property has the potential to be a great stay. I think next year we agreed to increase our budget.

Beautiful Home, Great Location but needs updates

Let me start by saying the location of this unit is great. The home is very pretty & nicely decorated. There was plenty of sleeping room for our party of 17. The property was clean on the surface but could use a good deep cleaning. Loved having access to the 4 bicycles. Easy to hop on those & ride to the gas station for items needed. We were a little disappointed that the closest beach access points were not handicap accessible for my Mother who needed them but that’s no fault of this property. The house is very nice but has an odd layout with main floor being on the 2nd floor. You had to carry all groceries upstairs which was not an issue for our group. A few items that need to be addressed by property owner. 1) 3rd Floor TV not working in one of rooms 2) Dryer takes about 5 cycles to dry the clothes. 3) Dishwasher is broken, door doesn’t close all the way so cannot run it. 4) Hot tub heater & jets are broken. When we called they said told us that was as good as it would get. 5) The outside shower by pool does not work. 6) Paint chipping all over house (upstairs in bathroom, 1st floor bathroom, corner of stairwell it’s crumbling into pieces). 7) 3rd floor ceiling fans don’t work 8) French doors on 1st floor to patio stick & will accidentally lock on you. 9) Ice machine on the fridge upstairs doesn’t work. 10) Some of buttons on oven for setting temperature does not work (5) 11) Towel rack in 2nd floor bathroom is broken and keeps falling off of wall.

Robert Annual Beach Vacay

Our family had a great time in this spacious house. We had all the amenities we needed with a short walk to the beach access path. We enjoyed the backyard, the bikes and the tiny pool was refreshing.
