Kelly was friendly and responsive, quickly helping with entry and providing WiFi details. The property is spacious and well-stocked with basics like plates (including kids’), measuring cups, toaster, coffee maker, plus dish and laundry detergent, soap, trash bags, paper towels, and a sponge—these thoughtful extras were appreciated.The walk to the beach is quick, though you do cross a busy road; we had no issues crossing safely.That said, we were surprised by some cleanliness and maintenance issues given previous rave reviews. We found blood on the bathroom wall, which Kelly offered to address, but we cleaned ourselves. Later, we noticed dried icing on the fridge checklist, a moldy shower curtain, dusty ceiling fans, possible mold in a bathroom drawer, stained pillows without protectors, partly missing patio blinds, and rusted pool tables. The closet with the air filter and water heater made strange noises, the filter was filthy, and some exposed wiring looked like a potential fire hazard.Overall, the space is roomy and well-equipped, but some deeper cleaning and maintenance would improve the stay

We absolutely love staying here! The area is great the pool is super convenient and it’s a very very short walk to the beach, as well as a small ice cream shop and souvenir shop. Place is absolutely perfect and has everything you need to cook what ever you want like pots and pans. Definitely plan on staying again!

The location was great ! Walking distance to the beach ! The shower in the master bedroom was unusually small ! The biggest negative was the bed in the master bedroom, the bed was very uncomfortable making it difficult to get a good night sleep. Seems to be an old coil mattress ! Very noisy!

Hidden paradise

This condo along with location was perfect. There were no elevators or steps to climb pool right outside the front door parking was maybe 50 ft from the front door very short walk to the beach the condo was very clean, well decorated,and the kitchen had plenty of utensils for use i caught 2 keeper size pompano that we cooked in the oven they were great never caught or cooked them before. I did not want to leave this place, if you are looking for the perfect condo this is it

Enjoying the Sun

My wife and my daughter stayed the second week of August 2023. We enjoyed the beach only 2 minute walk. We also enjoyed it being just as close to Pompano Joe's restaurant. Which we ate at twice. Upon arrival contacted the property manager and he responded promptly and was helpful with our stay. We would start again.

Something different!

We absolutely loved staying at Gulfcrest with our 3 boys. The location was wonderful and not dealing with stairs or elevators made a huge difference with 3 little kids in tow. The pool was good sized and steps from our door. This was a very different type of property for us and we will not be looking for large high rise options ever again!

From the outside, it could use a little TLC but the inside is exactly as depicted. Decent amenities and convenient location. The listing says there is a grill but there is not. It would be a great addition for meals though. PROS Quiet Close to beaches Private Pool - although too warm to use in our opinion and the beautiful beach is steps away CONS Pullout couch is terrible for sleeping Could use more kitchen basics - Tupperware, large knives, etc Dryer takes forever, so plan accordingly when washing clothes Tight parking Private patio doesn’t offer table or much seating. You can’t beat the location though. Thank you for the hospitality.

Fine for singles or couples-not families

If you expect the bare minimum, this will work for you. While we weren’t expecting anything lavish, we were also slightly disappointed. As far as distance to the beach, it was perfect. Just at the end of the street was the beach. The property itself is located in a pocket of not so great homes. The rental is small, like an apartment and so is everything inside it. The “master suite” bed I believe is a full size bed…not suitable for a couple. The master stand up shower does not fit an adult. We ended up switching rooms with our 7 & 8 yr old kids. We took the secondary room with the queen bunk bed on the bottom…we kept hitting our heads, it was hot and the mattress was not comfortable. Top bunk is useless bc it’s so close to the fan. For the most part we all shared the bathroom with the tub, so it took a long time for us to get ready to go anywhere. Master tub doesn’t have a drain plug, which made bathing our toddler really tricky. Most things seemed on the verge of falling apart…I killed one roach which I really wasn't thrilled about. Overall, we made it work for the week. Kelly seemed very nice and responsive and the location was great, but we wouldn’t book here again.

Perfect for a small family

The location was fantastic- easy walk to the beach, and close to have a drink at Pompano Joes. There were no steps to have to worry about when taking your wagon to the beach and back. The parking spots are tight for a large SUV, and you get one spot per unit. The pool was always clean but could use a couple chairs to lay out by the pool. Be sure to bring a few things from home as the kitchen has basic essentials, but that is about it. Bring storage containers for leftovers, and an ice cream scooper for the kids! Overall, this unit was perfect for our family of 4. It was a great place for the week!
