The night staff gentleman was really kind and friendly when we showed up. He led us to our room, which was in good condition. It was dirty (had pawprints, stained couch, and desk chair) and had one towel. We asked for towels, and the gentleman gave us a set of towels. We were able to sleep for the night and it was good for a night's sleep.
Overall, the experience was good. The hotel itself could use some upgrades, and the place seemed understaffed. I believe that the night porter was doing the best he could based on the resources he had available. The breakfast the next morning was great in the lobby. There were a lot of friendly faces and people were talking.
The price was good. The service was good. The location was good. The hotel itself has seen better days, but we would most likely stay here when we return to Missoula based on the kindness of the night manager.
