The historic town of Monmouth is just 2 miles from the Lodge and has plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes for you to enjoy. The town is steeped in history and a visit to Monmouth Castle is a must along with the Monnow Bridge and Gate. Spend the day at Monmouth Museum or take a visit to the lost city of Trelleck, where they offer archaeological dig experiences.
The area is also perfect for outdoor enthusiasts with a range of walking opportunities, including National Trust Kymin offering spectacular views over the rolling hills of Monmouthshire.
