The Italian Villa is a splendid property located in the charming Tuscan hilltown of San Giovanni d’Asso. Situated near a medieval castle, the Italian Villa was built in the 16th century on one basic level, with terraced rooms to separate the living areas from the sleeping quarters. The property has been totally renovated to modernize the interior to a very high standard, and with eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, there’s plenty of room for up to 14 guests. The beauty and old world charm of the original structure of the villa, with its exposed beam ceilings and granite and tile floors, is a gorgeous backdrop for the comfortable and authentic Tuscan furnishings. The courtyard offers a splendid private pool amid formal gardens, all enjoying breathtaking views of the vast rolling countryside. This is an ideal villa for those who wish to be close to shopping, restaurants and cafes, yet be in a private home and enjoy views of the hills surrounding Siena.

Included in the price is a maid 6 days a week, plus a gardener to tend to the courtyard.

The Italian Villa is a lovely large villa in a small hilltown near Siena. Upon entering from the cobblestones you find the well-furnished and comfortable elevated living room with impressive open-beamed ceiling and granite floor. The elegant dining room with a large Tuscan fireplace, boasts a long table that seats all 16 guests with doors leading out to the terrace. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a stove, oven, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. A TV/salon is just above the kitchen/dining room level, along with another large living room with fireplace. This level also has two queen bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower, and two twin bedrooms that share a bathroom with shower. Another sleeping area includes one queen bedroom, one bedroom with twin beds with ensuite bathroom with bathtub. Another twin bedroom with full ensuite bathroom with shower completes the house. There is an additional queen bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

*Please note: AC units are available in 5 of the 8 bedrooms. The remaining 3 bedrooms have fans.

In the center of the garden is a large swimming pool and an attractive gazebo.
