CHECK IN PROCESS: Room wasn’t ready on time. Staff said they would call my phone when it was ready. They did not call and Marion, the manager, made excuses as to why they weren’t ready instead of accepting that this was a rough check in Many others had this issue; be prepared for this! FOOD: Reservation restaurants were good–nice presentation and food was tasty and cooked well. The cafe had great lattes, ice cream, key lime pie, cookies Pool grill had great lunch food, especially the snapper sandwich on coco bread. Important to note: we made our reservations before we arrived, but the reservations were completed incorrectly. ROOMS: Ocean front room was huge and amazing! Mini King rooms were adequate–much smaller and darker with no view and the street noise could be a bit much. HOTEL STATUS: After we booked this as adults only, the hotel changed to family friendly There were obnoxious children running and yelling in restaurants, throwing cups of sand in the pool, and urinating in the pool–NOT PLEASANT! We weren’t notified of this change–NOT ACCEPTABLE! POOL: Cloudy with a film on it; didn’t seem clean TOWEL SERVICE: Could only get 1 towel with a towel card Strange stains on towels Towels were very thick and felt soggy all day long–never dried STAFF: Most staff were outstanding and super attentive Special shout outs to the main manager and concierge Front desk was NOT helpful BEACH: Not allowed to use floats at beach even though that wasn’t listed anywhere in the rules.

I felt very comfortable staying at this hotel. The staff was pleasant and very nice. Always there for a question. I thought the food was amazing. I gained five pounds. I think I would return just for the great food. The chef's get a A++. I enjoyed my short stay and wished I had booked for more than the four days.

The staff and service is always great, except for your rude person here and there. This is my second year back and sadly, due to this experience, I’ll select a different resort next time. A lot of things have changed since last year. The resort is no longer “adults only”, the steakhouse is no longer there, you have to pay for the Irie baths now, and the cafe is no longer 24 hours. The food menus have changed and it just wasn’t as good as I remembered. Seeing a child run past me as I was on my way to book my massage was definitely a shocker. We purposely selected this hotel because it was advertised as “adults only”. It made me feel like I had to think twice about what to wear around the resort. The restaurants now close on certain nights and the pool bar is no longer a buffet. We were so excited to eat at the steakhouse on the 5th floor, we booked it 2 nights in a row. When we ate at it in the first night we discovered it was no longer a steakhouse and canceled our reservations for the 2nd night. The food was not as tasty. I had the mushroom ravioli which tasted like tomato paste. We ate at The pork pit the second night, instead. All of the changes really put a damper on this vacation, because we had expectations that were not met. I recommended this hotel to many of my friends and bragged about it, because our first stay was amazing! I was very disappointed this time around. Hope you guys change things back.

Most of the staff was very kind and welcoming. There were a couple of times where we have to flag down someone to order drinks or food. The room was very spacious and clean with a beautiful view but the resort it self was very dated from the outside. The restaurant options were wonderful during dinner- exceptional food.

The property is wonderful and luxurious. The staff are very kind and helpful! The rooms were so clean and the design is beautiful! The one thing I would add would be some entertainment on the property during the day and at night. Otherwise, the S Hotel is an amazing hotel and I would definitely stay again.

The property was ok. The third day we were there the ac in the room went out and they said they don’t have another room for us which my wife and I where super mad about if you don’t know Jamaica is HOT. However later they did get us another room with an ac and they also compensate us for two nights stay which they took off the bill which was great on their part. The beach was real nice I feel asleep on the beach chair from that nice ocean breeze love it. The majority of the staff that was there were ok only a few really had welcoming faces and attitude the other staff members really didn’t have that warm welcoming demeanor. For instance we ask a staff member at the beach can we sit over on the other side of the beach which there was no chairs all he said was “ you can if you want to” then moved on his merry way. We ask another staff member that was passing by the same question and he was like “sure you can sit over there just give me five minutes and I will take care of you” I forgot his name damn. He went a got two beach chairs and an umbrella for my wife and I. He then set it up where we wanted to sit on the beach. That’s customer service. Then later on my wife went downstairs to the grill to order some food and keep waiting and waiting.The staff that was there where paying for attention to playing the resort games than actually making sure my wife got her food. At this point they was trying to give her cold food so she. That being said the food at buffet was AWESOME!!

Beautiful, well maintained all inclusive property. Friendly, helpful staff. Three restaurants that take reservations serving Jamaican, Italian and seafood. Buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner with good options. Able to walk right on the beach. A cafe on site, too, that serves coffee, desserts and small bites. Also able to book local excursions but would’ve researched other options for lower prices.
