Pleasant surprise

Got stuck in Monterrey due to airline delays enroute to Cancun. Came across CNH on the app. What a wonderful surprise! The shuttle was dispatched in less than 10 mins after we made the reservation. Checkin was fast, friendly. Rooms are huge, clean and very comfortable.

The hotel itself was clean and nice. But the bar seems permanently closed. No alcohol available in the bar or restaurant. Front desk was awesome. But restaurant staff seemed unhappy. However there was a really nice Italian restaurant a three minute walk away. Shuttle driver was late to work in the morning. Just ok for a hotel near airport when you have to leave early the next morning.

Basic Accommodation

This was a basic, comfortable hotel with the bare essentials. No bar or restaurant. I could not see why I paid the price I did. I cannot imagine that the Marriott around the corner was as basic as this.

Room was spacious and bed was comfortable and shower was good. Quiet and peaceful. But in something of a dead zone and difficult to walk anywhere (was confined to ordering delivery). Staff was great and breakfast buffet was probably a decent deal. Very close to airport so shuttle back was about 5 mins.

The room was extremely dirty and the property was not well maintained at all. Overpriced! The sheets were dirty, there was hair everywhere in the bathroom, the carpet wasn’t vacuumed and the overall condition of the room was very poor. If I hadn’t paid through Expedia I’d not had stayed. The towels were old and stinking… the pillows were also old. I can say that that was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in my life. I am extremely disappointed with this hotel.

An airport hotel. No coffee in the morning. Had to wait until the restaurant was open (6:30) to get a cup of coffee. One bottle of water a day. No extra bottles available. No toothpaste available when you forgot to pack it. Restaurant was not good. Nothing special about the executive suite that I paid extra for. Nothing good to say about the hotel except it was near the airport.
