My mom and I had a wonderful 2-night stay here in March. Yes, the road to get to the rental is a bit rough and primitive, but we expected that and we had no issues with our 4x4 rental. I do suggest a 4x4. There is a gate to the house that made us feel safe. Upon arriving, we were in awe of the beauty of the landscaping and the view! The grounds are very well-maintained with interesting flora and fauna everywhere you look. We had a great time just sitting outside, eating lunch and taking in the views. We also loved the balcony upstairs- a great spot for a glass of wine and sunset! The inside was very well decorated, clean, and very homey. We loved the bathroom- it was nice and clean and had a spa feel. And thank goodness for hot water! I also appreciated the little details- extra robes, towels and toiletry supplies. The host left us some breakfast food that we really appreciated- eggs, bread, avocado, tomato, banana, jam and OJ. As soon as we got there, the host stopped by and checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed. Overall- this place was a 10/10! PURA VIDA!
