Lovely hotel in the beautiful little town of Sault. Staff at the hotel were super friendly and the hotel is in a really fantastic location. Warning - I stayed Monday to Wednesday in April and that meant choices for dinner were limited.

Beautiful property and grounds. Excellent breakfast and easy walking access to a very nice town center with lots of shop and restaurants. A bakery on the corner that is to die for. Very nice room and staff was friendly. Great grounds with pool and sitting, picnicking and playing area for children.

Swimming pool - patio slabs around it loose & unstable. Unsuitable for children. Drainage issues with all sinks on 1st floor of property. Shower head needs cleaning - high degree of limescale. Bath taps unstable & inoperable Freezer ice maker & cold water appliance not working

My experience with VRBO has been horrific. I rented an entire house and garden for a month for my family (and my dog) to relax and visit the surrounding area of Provance. I specifically rented this place because it was advertised as a complete house with a beautiful garden. The pictures of the garden were amazing and I imagined family time and dinners outside. What actually happened was that the owners were living in the basement without our knowledge and the garden turned out to be a mosquito infested hell scape. The first week we were there, my youngest daughter kept waking up terrified because she said she heard someone in the basement. We both thought it was her imagination because she had recently watched a scary movie. We kept smelling cigarette smoke wafting through the house which was weird but we disregarded it thinking maybe it was a neighbor, but again, it didn't make sense but it didn't occur to me that people could be secretly living in the basement. I also kept waking up with asthma, either because of the cigarette smoke or something else in the house. This set a tone of disquiet and a low grade anxiety that affected our visit. One day one of my daughters stayed behind when we went on a trip to a market and she called me to tell me that the owners had come out of the basement and were in the yard.
