Disliked: Cleanliness
The pillows and beds smelled strong like feet. Making us have to use our own pillows to be able to sleep. On our last day, my daughter opened a cubby where she had placed some of her clothes and her clothing was swarming with roaches. We were absolutely disgusted. My daughter spent the last day of our trip crying, scared to even be in the house. And we spent our last day going through all of our belongings to make sure no roaches were going home with us. The house was clearly surface cleaned to make it appear clean but was not clean whatsoever. I attempted to resolve the issue with the property owner who ignored me after our check out day. Will never stay at one of this persons listings again. On top of it all, we didn’t even receive the code to the door until like 5 hours after our check out time. The whole experience was terrible. I’ve used VRBO for YEARS and have never had an experience like this. I also hope I never have another experience like this. NOTHING was done to accommodate us for anything that happened during our stay.
