Host did not communicate at all after we made a non-refundable reservation. VRBO attempted to contact host to no avail and gave me a full refund after they were unsuccessful. This listing is a scam!

DO NOT BOOK HERE I saw the only other review and thought I would give this place the benefit of the doubt but the owner just actually never answers you. Tried contacting him for 2 hours and nothing at all, was almost stranded with 3% battery on my phone, DO NOT BOOK HERE I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK THIS!!!!!

Terrible VRBO experience

We booked the place 2 weeks in advance, got confirmation of booking from VRBO and was charged for the room. The day of check in, we reached out to the property manager for access instructions and were totally ghosted. Stranded in a busy city in a foreign country with nowhere to stay, despite having confirmation and paying.I received no response until I asked for a refund. I was assured that VRBO would refund the money, but have received no further response to inquiries from the property manager a nothing from VRBO. Do NOT trust this booking, unless you want to risk being similarly stranded with your family. It was a stressful experience.
