The location is near downtown and also near old Montreal as well. The staffs were super friendly and the mattress and the bedding was excellent. I would stay again if I visit Montreal in the future.

Had our belongings stolen while out exploring for the day. Reported it to the concierge in which they responded “well maybe housekeeping didn’t mean to steal it”.. they told us they would open up an investigation. We were not contacted further about this issue. Disappointed. I have stayed in many hotels and have never had anything stolen from my room. Would not recommend.

They ventilation (AC and heating) was turned off in the room. As in, mechanically turned off. So the first night it was 26 C with no air. The guests in the neighboring room partied the entire night. We called security at 11 p.m. and again at 4 a.m. So a pretty miserable night. We eventually got moved to a new room. When we asked for basic information ("Does the bar have a happy hour?"), the response we got was "I don't know". Finally, Humaniti Hotel owed us a refund because we changed our booking. They did not give the refund and I had to call Hotels.com multiple times. As of now, I still have not received my refund. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Location is great for exploring the port and old Montreal, everything was very walkable. Rooftop pool and gym/amenities were also nice. Unfortunately this property did not meet our expectations in terms of quality/cleanliness. Upon arrival we found old socks left in the room from another guest. The team was responsive and removed them right away, but wasn’t overly apologetic about it. Further, we noticed a bad smell in the hallways and washroom coming from the drains. Not sure if this is something that can be fixed, so we didn’t bother raising it. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this property for the cost paid given there are many other options.

Self parking was really confusing. It’s hard to know where you can park. Lots of spots say “reserved” as there are condos and businesses. Finally I settled on a visitor spot but it was for one of the businesses so I still felt uncomfortable. More direction and signage would have been helpful.

Our stay at Humaniti was everything we hoped and more. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. (I slept better than I remember sleeping in any hotel!) Food options were great—breakfast downstairs and an excellent “splurge” restaurant in the facility. Close to the old city, parks, and super quick pickup for taxis etc. And the staff was amazing. Highly recommend!
