The staff were wonderful , unfortunately there were stairs and I had back surgery and was using a cane and my sister was in a walker . So it was difficult to go up and down the stairs . We would have loved to stay , it’s quaint , original and you couldn’t ask for a better location . I’m Just sorry for the stairs that hampered us from staying .i don’t don’t know why it never occurred to me to check , but a friend of our stayed there and loved it and it was highly recommended . Hopefully we will be able to come back in better health conditions . Thank you for the staff being so attentive. And the young man whom helped us with the suitcases . Helped with the suitcases was so very nice .

I was genuinely excited to stay at LHotel after reading the glowing reviews and seeing the photos online, but my experience was a complete disappointment and felt like a bait and switch. From the moment I walked in, the hotel smelled unpleasant and unrefined. The lobby looked nothing like the elegant, art-filled space shown online. Instead, it felt more like a flea market, with the gift shop overflowing into what little seating area was available. The room itself was just as disheartening. The bed had a massive dip in it, the rugs were filthy, and overall, the space felt poorly maintained. The level of service didn’t make up for it either. Front desk staff were inattentive and disengaged. Even breakfast was underwhelming: just a few pastries, coffee, and orange juice. This stay was such a letdown, especially after how much I’d been looking forward to visiting. I would not recommend this hotel. The reality does not match the photos or reviews.

Nice place chic in a great location steps from the Basilica and old Montreal. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The realms are well decorated, and the bed is luxuriously comfortable.. the best part where the chocolate croissants for breakfast they are the best I ever had. Baked to perfection.

A great centrally located hotel. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, and added greatly to the ambiance of the hotel, Matteo in particular. Rooms were large and clean; excellent and very nice. The exterior of the hotel, to include entry carpeting, awnings, exterior street level windows and decorations, needs to be swept and cleaned around the building on a regular basis. That would add additional impressiveness and class to the establishment.

Upgraded to a lovely suite which was large and very nice. Very few electrical outlets, safe didn’t lock and need more shelving in bathroom if I were to improve it. Comfortable bed and linens. Nice to have coffee or tea and a croissant but that was it.

The room was not what we had the last time even though it was the same room. Bed sheets had holes in them, and cleaners did not do their job. Left used coffee cups in room and did not replace. Other supplies were not checked. Had 2 hair conditioners and NO shampoo. Check the supplies.

We loved our large suite--great for a 5 night stay. The breakfast was too skimpy--could have used some fruit or cheese. Luckily, the pastries were fresh. Coffee was very weak. The carpeting looked old and needed cleaning. We were amazed by the great art decorating the public spaces; it would have been nice to have the artworks labeled. Overall, we liked the hotel! The location was great for walking. Try the Monarch, right down the street, for great French food.

Fantastic location. Interesting decor. Large room. Comfortable luxurious bed and good linens and towels. Bathroom had great soaker tub. Fixtures showed their age. Nice bath robes. Breakfast was a croissant on a paper plate, drip coffee, with milk only, on a paper plate and orange juice on a paper cup. Very disappointing! ( this alone will mean we won’t return). Service was very friendly. Check in I was seamless.
