Having the balcony was clutch. The location of the hotel is perfect for being near Mgill. It’s a cab ride to the old port. Tons of restaurant options and shopping on St. Cats.

The property is perfect for families, as their suites are much more spacious than standard hotel rooms. The suites are modern, and the amenities such as shampoo and body wash were great. Their app made it easy to communicate with the front desk, and responses were always prompt. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Montreal.

Good place for families. Woken up at 5:30am each day from garbage truck pick up which was loud as heck and disturbing for 15 minutes or so. Otherwise it was quiet. Rooftop pool and hot tub are awesome. Railings aren't safe. No view from room 310. But honestly we did love it. In room amenities were good. Beds aren't that comfortable. Think IKEA bed. But all in all I did really like it.

We loved the location. We visited in the summer and it was close enough to most attractions to walk to our destinations (and close to subway and bicycle stations for tired feet days). We could explore the city for a few hours and return for a break from the heat in the AC or a dip in the pool before heading out again. The pool was a bit small and crowded at times but good enough for refreshing, quick dips. Lots of great restaurants around. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace with our morning coffee. Checking in and out was smooth and we definitely enjoyed our stay and would return!

We really liked staying here. The property was clean. Reception staff were friendly. There were available ubers and taxis nearby. This was in central downtown so we were able to walk to a lot of places. Also a metro station less than 500m away. They also have a balcony which was nice and amazing views of the city. The pool closes at nine but it would be nice if it closed a bit later. We needed new sheets in the middle of the night because there was a blood stain that we didn’t notice earlier on the comforter that wasn’t ours and the security guard asked us to come back in the morning. Would’ve been nice to have those services accessible during the night too in case of emergencies. The guests were quiet but it is in the city so of course there was noise from traffic and the city. A lot of good food places and shopping areas around. There was also a laundry machine in our room which was really helpful. There was no proper shower door (walk in shower) so the floor got wet often and we frequently had to put towels on the floor (annoying but not a deal breaker). The room was nicely furnished. There’s also an option to have room service but depends on how many days you stay — we didn’t use it but would be helpful to use during the stay. Nice to have dishes, cups and utensils too — helped a lot with take out food. There’s also a full kitchen and that was helpful as well. Felt like living in an apartment — home away from home.

This is my second time at this property. I will be booking with Sonders for future travel to Montreal. My daughters were very comfortable as the property is spacious, clean, and the decor is beautiful. If you have a car, you can park it across the street in the Concordia University underground parking for decent rates! I will be back!

Downtown Montreal Made Easy

Staying at the Maisonneuve Apartments Downtown apartments have not disappointed me as they are superior to other places I have stayed and are within easy walking distance downtown. It is best to check out parking before arriving as you can only park briefly outside the apartments to unload your items. The street is sometimes crowded and you may have to wait until a space becomes available. There is parking across the university and another one about 800 m away. You are provided with everything you need such as a microwave, stove, tea, coffee and all you need is your shopping. There are many shops and restaurants in the area and the underground shopping area is within walking distance.

Excellent location. My room was small with a Murphy bed, but it was all that was needed. I didn’t realize I had booked this, so next time will book a bigger room as it was kind of like a pod when the bed was down. Came with laundry, big fridge& freezer, and a sound machine! Staff were friendly and check in was easy using the Sonder app. Location was great - 3 minute walk to Guy-Concordia station as well as to 24hr convenience stores and food places in case you come in at an odd time.

Good location, close to metro and the main st Catherine’s street. Room was a good size, air con worked well. Noise from neighbouring buildings air con loud on balcony so not that relaxing to sit out on but didn’t affect our stay, would rebook.

Wondeful placwe to stay

Perfect location, the apt is a five minute walk to the McGill campus. The space was extremely clean and we all all enjoyed having our own space. Staff were incredibly kind, helpful and responsive. The amenities were also very well maintained and looked after. The only very slight observation was that the bed in our bedroom was in disrepair, but the staff addressed it quickly and were wonderful about it

No parking; too complicated on check-in, you need to register online before you can check in; room was super tiny, the bathroom sink is too small to put your bottles; you have to change the sofa to your bed by yourself, after that, your room is full occupied by the bed; most important was I can’t shut down the AC, there was no phone in the room and no people at the front desk at night, it was 17 degrees the whole night, I woke up at 5:40 because of the cold, then I went to took shower, water was not warm enough neither, water flow was very tiny. Overall experience was bad.

We loved the location of this hotel. The room was wonderful. It was extremely clean and perfect site for us as a couple. There was only one set of towels however. I brought an extra towel so it ended up being ok. I love all the amenities. The iron was very old and stained. I brought my own iron so I was able to use it to iron my clothing with. The outside pool needed more water & third day was cloudy so I didn't use it. That was disappointing.
